Quality control photos are your only opportunity to inspect items before they leave the warehouse. Once a package is shipped internationally, returns are expensive, slow, or impossible. The five minutes you spend reviewing QC photos can save you weeks of frustration and the cost of a disappointing item. Always request and review QC photos before approving shipment.
General QC Checklist
These checks apply to every item regardless of category.
Overall shape: does the silhouette match retail photos?
Color accuracy: compare with official product images under similar lighting
Logo placement: check alignment, size, and spacing against reference photos
Stitching quality: look for loose threads, uneven seams, or skipped stitches
Hardware: zippers, buttons, and rivets should match retail branding
Interior tags: labels, washing instructions, and size tags should be correct
Shoes QC Checklist
Shoes are the most complex category to QC. Focus on these specific points.
Toe box shape and perforation pattern accuracy
Midsole paint lines and any discoloration
Logo embossing depth and alignment
Outsole traction pattern consistency
Lace tip branding and insole printing
Heel counter shape and stiffness

Clothing items have different priorities than shoes.

What to Do If QC Fails
If you spot an issue, act immediately. Document the problem with a clear description and reference the warehouse photo number. Contact your agent through the platform messaging system. Most issues can be resolved by exchanging the item. The faster you report, the faster the resolution. Do not approve shipment if you are not satisfied.
